Guys for Girls

Family Guy star and creator, Seth MacFarlane, is never afraid to push the boundaries of what most people would consider inappropriate.  His show may offend, but it does not discriminate; in the fictional town of Quahog, everyone is fair game.  In Family Guy's latest publicity spoof, the cast of Family Guy poses as HBO’s Girls cast.  The image mirrors that of Girls season one promotional ad.  The tagline reads: “Here’s a load of comedy to shoot on your chest,” a gross reference to the uncomfortable sex scene between Adam and his new girlfriend in season two’s controversial episode, aptly titled “On All Fours.”  Despite its crudeness, it has me missing those crazy white girls... (Hurry up and finish shooting season three, Lena Dunham!) Below the fake promo, is a coyly placed “For Your Consideration” caption… Emmy buzz for Family Guy? A possibility.  But, I'm hoping Girls takes a few awards for season two, to compensate for last year's losses.  Tune into the Primetime Emmy's on Sunday, September 22!
